The DJ spins in Holden and Astor creating a fun party brunch.
Holden and Astor is the new party brunch spot in the Meatpacking District taking over the old Bagatelle space. In reminiscent fashion of Bagatelle, Holden and Astor is a fancy French/ American bistro, featuring comfort food, salads and brunch specials with some truffles sprinkled to add interest.
The quality of cooking is very good, decor is brick walled, booths and white table cloth charm, and the crowd is young and hip.
A great choice for Brunch in 2015!
– Truffle Mac and Cheese
– Spinach Salad
– Steak with Creamed Spinach
Carrot Salad has strong notes of orange zest and is an explosion of sweet, salty and sour flavors.
Spinach Salad with Truffle honey is generous, textural with pungent truffle and sweet aftertaste. Delicious. Fried Cheese Balls add a little umame
Mac and Cheese with Truffle is a more buttery, elegant version of Mac and Cheese. Like a European mom made it instead of your mom’s usual recipe.
Cornflake crusted french toast is very sweet with a fried, cinnamon, cornflake crust, berry coulis and whipped cream
Delicious Steak with roasted potatoes and creamed spinach which acts like a sauce.
Hanging out at the Bar with Zara Cashmere Sweater, TopShop Jeans and Chloe boots, perfect for a upscale Sunday Brunch.
