BOND ST – SUSHI PERFECTION AND THE TUNA TART THAT STOLE MY HEART

BOND ST is situated in an historic, Soho-styled brownstone and serves sophisticated and delicious modern sushi in a cool downtown space. It still stands as one of the coolest sushi restaurants that unpretentiously delivers top quality fresh sushi and sashimi and innovative modern dishes like Miso Cod Skewers and the absolutely to die for Tuna Tart with Truffle Oil and Microgreens.

There are three, distinct levels.  The ground floor houses BONDST Lounge, a sexy dark intimate space with its own sushi bar and club-like banquettes.  On the second floor, the restaurant offers a festive seventy-five seat dining room with a lively sushi bar (I recommend to sit here and watch the sushi chefs prepare sushi), as well as a bar overlooking NoHo’s cobblestoned Bond Street. The third floor offers an elegant and comfortable dining room, as well as the Tatami Room which can be booked for private events.

The menu is inventive Japanese and Sushi with a few French and Chinese ingredients, the service is good and they have a large selection of sake, wine and beer. It is really easy to eat healthy here and have a delicious meal. Always great for a date or group.
